Our mission is to provide exceptional counseling services by being respectful of your counseling needs, responsible for your treatment plan, and reliable and available throughout your time with us. We are committed to the therapeutic process, competent about our approach, and compassionate about the individuals we help. We offer individual, couple, marriage, and group counseling. We see clients from the age of 5 years old and up. Our counselors located in West Houston has a focused in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has a specialty in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children from 3 to 18 years old. Services

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling sessions will be one on one counseling sessions with a counselor and the client. All individual counseling sessions are protected by limits of confidentiality. The goals of individual counseling sessions are for the counselor and client to identify the problems and discover interventions to help come up with outcomes and solutions.

Couple Counseling

Marriage and Pre-marriage counseling sessions will be conducted by the counselor and both individuals from the couple simultaneously. All marriage and pre-marriage counseling sessions are protected by limits of confidentiality. The goals of marriage and pre-marriage counseling sessions are for the counselor and client to identify and implement techniques and strategies that will promote a healthy marriage.

Family Counseling

Family counseling sessions will be conducted with the counselor and all or as many members of the immediate family as possible. The family will also have the option to include any other family members that may benefit the counseling process. All family counseling sessions are protected by limits of confidentiality. The goals of family counseling sessions are to identify the challenges the family is facing and discover and implement techniques and strategies that will overcome the challenges.

Group Counseling

Group counseling sessions will be conducted by a counselor and 2 to 12 group members who are experiencing personal or interpersonal challenges. All group counseling sessions are protected by limits of confidentiality. The goals of group counseling sessions are to have the group members share their experiences, identify problems, and give/receive positive feedback that will help group members discover solutions to their challenges.

Career Counseling

Career counseling sessions will be conducted by a counselor with the individual preparing to make a career decision. All career counseling sessions are protected by limits of confidentiality. The goal of career counseling is to identify change, transition, and instability in the workforce and implement strategies that will help the individual successfully make the correct career choice.

Owner / Lead Counselor

The owner of Malley, LLC, Malcolm Junior is originally from Raceland, LA, and currently resides in Katy, TX. He is married and has five children. In 1983, Malcolm made the decision to serve his country and see the world -- he joined the US Army in December of that same year. Malcolm has honorably served his country for over 26 years and has completed two overseas assignments to Germany and one deployment to Bosnia. After serving his country, Malcolm made the decision to return home and serve his community. Malcolm is an active member of the Rotary Club of Katy, and also a Lifetime member of the VFW. Malcolm has a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, and he is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Malcolm understands the need for great service and has the passion and the staff to deliver exceptional care to each client.

Office Manager

Varrie Bolden is originally from East Texas but now lives in Katy, Texas with her husband, Lugene who is a retired Army veteran. They have four children. Varrie graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She later completed the master’s degree program at the University of Phoenix in which she received her Master of Business Administration: Human Resource Management degree. Varrie has many years of experience in Customer Service, Accounting and Human Resources. While away from the office, Varrie enjoys spending time with her husband, children, their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They are very involved in their local church where her husband serves as Assistant Pastor.
